Biography

My 48 years of experience in the field of real estate, serving as REALTOR, Managing Broker and Worldwide Relocation Director has given me volumes of experience in working with Sellers and Buyers. My clients and peers know me as “The Real Estate Lady”.

I have held real estate licenses in the States of Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Washington and back to Kentucky, most recently. While living in the Seattle, WA, area, my focus was working with Boeing Relocation Clients which afforded me the experience of working with clients from all over the world.

I have been a Managing Broker for the majority of my career, and have attained the National Association of Realtor designations of GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative, CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert) to name a few.

Community involvement has been a love of mine! I’ve served on the Boards of Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, Seattle Children’s Hospital and served on scores of committees for other community projects.

I have been a multi-million dollars producer for most of my career, earning awards for productivity in Closed Sales, as well as congeniality awards for my ability to walk my clients through sometimes difficult transactions. I also was awarded the honor of REALTOR of the YEAR from my peers in Owensboro, KY. I specialize in Relocation and the Home Trade Program.

I am associated with the L. Steve Castlen group, a family-owned business established by Elwood Castlen and JoAnn Castlen in 1969. The CASTLEN name is highly respected and well known in the entire Western Ky area.

My hobbies include golf, water color and acrylic painting, Home Interior Design and playing the piano for restaurants and church. I regularly attend Christ Community Church and consider Pastor Myke Templeton a close friend. I have two grown children, Derek and Jennifer, and four wonderful grandchildren, who are my pride and joy!
